Adult Mixed Media Art Journaling

Service Description

Art journaling is a means of expressing yourself through images, colour and texture; words are optional. In the mixed media art journaling class students will learn techniques, and be given the time to explore a variety of materials for self expression. We will use an inspiring assortment of art supplies and everyday objects found around the house. Students will be walked through the steps to complete a page in their journal, while having the freedom to follow their own creative path to create a page that is uniquely theirs. A journal and art materials are provided. Students are expected to bring some basic supplies to each class like a pencil, scissors, glue stick and paint brushes. This class is being taught by Shawna, a self-taught artist and a homeschooling mom of 17 years who loves to share the joy of creating with others. Registration fee is per student. Recommended for ages 13+. This class is being taught on farm at The Garden. Parents are welcome to stay onsite and enjoy The Garden while the kids are busy. This is a 4 week course, Thursdays 5-6pm Class dates: September 14 September 21 September 28 October 5th
