Weekly Art Journalling - Kids 7+

Service Description

Art journaling is a means of expressing yourself through images, colour and texture; words are optional. In the mixed media art journaling class students will learn techniques, and be given the time to explore a variety of materials for self expression. We will use an inspiring assortment of art supplies and everyday objects found around the house. Students will be walked through the steps to complete a page in their journal, while having the freedom to follow their own creative path to create a page that is uniquely theirs. This class is being taught by Shawna, a self-taught artist and a homeschooling mom of 17 years who loves to share the joy of creating with others. Registration fee is per student. Recommended for ages 7-12. Parents are welcome to stay onsite and enjoy The Garden while the kids are busy. Students will need to bring their own multi-media sketch books. All other supplies are provided.
