Have you ever forced your own bulbs in winter? Bulb forcing is a great way for gardeners to bring the garden indoors when the snow flies. All you need is a vase, bowl or vessel of some kind, a bit of sunlight and the bulbs! Set the bulbs in a dish of soil, sand, marbles or stones and add a bit of water. Watch them grow. Before too long you will have a beautiful display of flowers grown right on your windowsill!
